Just got done making these tasty peanut butter cookies. Can you say fabulous. My son is licking the bowl as I type. Thanks for the great recipe.
ReplyDeleteStill have to make these tasty treats. Hope you had a great Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me! I love the pictures of all the aprons in your last post - how precious is that! Looking forward to stopping back and seeing you again!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog & helping to make my SITS day special!
Your blog header is SO CUTE. And, I'm reading the Flat Belly Diet, too.
ReplyDeleteIf I made my mother cookies for mother's day it would be her last...she'd either have a heart attack that I actually cooked...or my lack of skills would be the death of her. And I have to remember not to come here at one o'clock in the morning...when I have the munchies!

ReplyDeleteLove is being sent your way! :)
I tried this recipe and the dough was great my son like the bowl clean. My cooked ones were doughy on the inside flat and only the outer edges were crisp what did I do wrong?
ReplyDeleteHey Tink!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the dough.
Let's see what went wrong. Try this...
When I use my cookie scoop to make the cookies I usually use the palm of my hand to slightly flatten the dough ball for more even cooking once I place it on the pan. This helps with that doughy center.
I also let my pans cool a bit between baking. I have found that when they are hot the dough will spread too much and make a really thin cookie.
The cookies are meant to be chewy and not crisp too.
Sometimes oven temps will vary so it might be a good idea to use an oven thermometer to gauge the temp as well.
I hope this helps. If you have any more questions please feel free to email me.
Happy Baking!
